Coonatto Station is a family-owned and operated 14,000-acre sheep and cattle grazing property located in the spectacular Flinders Ranges. Approximately 300 km north of Adelaide.

Proudly held by the Lock family since 1912, the station is now managed by John and his wife Erica, together with their children. Continuing more than a century of pastoral tradition and country hospitality.

Guests can stay in our historic shearers’ quarters or enjoy camping at a selection of secluded campsites across the property.

Whether you’re looking for comfort or a back-to-nature experience, Coonatto Station offers space, privacy and unforgettable outback scenery.

With bushwalking, push bike riding, scenic 2WD tracks and peaceful picnic spots, there’s plenty to explore.
